Small but mighty!

There is something especially wonderful about these tiny vintage glass Christmas ornaments. Made on a much smaller scale than the traditional Christmas ornament, these little treasures were perfect for feather trees, tabletop trees, miniature Christmas displays, crafts, wreaths, garlands and other holiday decorating.

This listing is for a vintage miniature glass Christmas ornament selected from our collection of wonderful old Christmas pieces.

Our miniature ornaments come in an incredible variety of forms and decorations. You may find tiny indents, bumpies, molded and textured designs, figural shapes, pinecone forms, elongated shapes, rounds, fancy forms and other unusual little ornaments. Decorations may include silvering, hand-applied paint, mica, glitter, textured finishes or other traditional ornament treatments.

One of the charms of collecting miniature ornaments is simply finding them. Far fewer of these tiny ornaments seem to have survived than their full-size counterparts. Their delicate size made them particularly vulnerable to breakage, loss and disposal over the decades. Today, finding these wonderful little examples still intact can be part of the fun of building a vintage Christmas collection.

These are especially charming displayed on small feather trees and tabletop Christmas trees, where their diminutive proportions allow an entire collection to be displayed without overwhelming the tree. They are equally wonderful incorporated into vintage-inspired Christmas arrangements or simply collected and displayed together.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age and use.

These are genuine older Christmas ornaments and may show age-related wear including paint loss, fading, discoloration, oxidation or darkening of metal caps, loss of silvering, surface wear, missing decorative material or other evidence of age.

Ornaments are sold as found. We do not repaint, restore or otherwise alter their original decoration. Caps and hanging wires may have been replaced at some point during the ornament’s lifetime, and we cannot guarantee that every cap or hanger is original to the ornament.
