Massive and heavy circa 1985, Memphis Style “TONGUE VASE” by glass master ALBERTO DONA for BAROVIER & TOSO. A wonderful post-modern design by one of MURANO’s master glass designers. The vase is cased black with white and grey stripes on the outside and fire engine red on the inside. It has a cut and folded back section approximately 5″ down from the rim to show off its fabulous red interior. This vase is featured on p.109 of Leslie Pina’s book “Italian Glass Century

Measures 14″ height and 9 3/4″ diameter.

Excellent – We almost never rate anything as excellent because to us, excellent means brand new and still in packaging. If we’ve only removed it from the box for photography, it still receives a "very good" rating.
