Peter Behrens (German, 1868-1940). An Art Deco style lamp with stained glass shade. Titled "Flying Lady". A figural work depicting a Moderne female figure in a hooded gown, with upraised arms supporting three lights. Illumination filtered through an elegant amber and reds mottled slag glass shade. Wiring appears to have been updated. Signed on base BEHRENS. There are also numbers on the pieces. I have shown in pictures. Reproduction from the late 20th century. The original is owned by Hessian House Foundation.

A true statement of beauty that does not come along often. She is made of mixed media weighing in at 65lbs.

In very good condition. This came from an estate of a lover of everything deco. The owners collection was collected during her lifetime and protected in museum quality conditions her collection of art and lamps was very impressive.
